Category: Large Residential Size: Medium Condition: Fair - Poor Inhabitants: Naturalist tribe members
Description The naturalist tribe originally formed from the Oneida Nation and other Native American groups in the area. The tribe originally occupied the whole Oneida Nation Reservation, however, most of the reservation has become overgrown with the rapid growth following WW III. In addition, the naturalist tribe’s population could no longer take care of as large a chunk of land.
The naturalist territory currently encompasses an area of about 2.5 square miles in the northeast corner of the former reservation. The territory contains the Oneida Nation offices, several blocks of suburbs, and a shopping center. The Oneida Nations offices serve as a governmental building for the tribe, and the shopping center acts a a communal space for tribal events and meetings.
Sections of the territory are overgrown (but not as much as the deserted parts of the reservation), and some of the abandoned buildings in the regions are in disrepair. However, the naturalistic works hard to maintain the inhabited structures and the communal spaces used by the tribe. The overgrowth has a beneficial side-effect of giving the naturalists an additional source of food and agriculture, however the land does not produce enough edible food for the tribe to survive entirely on their own harvests and without trading for additional food supplies from the farming tribe and military tribe.
